Single screw pumps are volumetric pumps in which liquid is pumped by displacement of the pumped product by a screw rotor.
Single screw pumps are used for handling thick, viscous and viscous masses, as well as for pumping low-viscosity products. Depending on the design of the pump and its material, it is possible to pump pastes, oils, jams, honey, caramel masses, abrasive or even aggressive liquids so that the particles in their composition are not crushed or destroyed when mixed with the base liquid.
